Amplio has helped theChurch.at further its multi-site footprint with three campus launches and implement seamless live streaming across Tulsa and beyond.
In 2003, Alex Himaya launched The Church at Battle Creek with a vision to do church differently. Tulsa didn’t need just another church; rather they needed to create a safe and inviting environment to bring people from all walks of life to Christ.
As capacity crowds began to fill the auditorium of the converted mall, Himaya took the vision a step further: what if the church literally met people where they’re at? Enter theChurch.at.
In the time since, theChurch.at has launched five additional campuses across Tulsa, placing one within a 15-minute drive of any resident in the metropolitan area, whether in downtown or far north in Owasso, and boasts a combined average weekly attendance north of 5,000.
Expansion of theChurch.at hardly means new construction, however. Instead, theChurch.at has taken on a unique approach of rehabbing buildings – sometimes even previously failed churches – and converting them to best replicate the atmosphere at Battle Creek, the main campus. While each location features live worship and customized announcements from a campus pastor, a recent upgrade to Living As One has allowed for a seamless and distraction-free live streaming experience of Himaya’s teaching, allowing the church and its congregation to focus on its mission.
We’re excited to continue alongside theChurch.at as they continue expand, whether in Tulsa or beyond.
